Employee Contributions to Red Cross

“OneAmerica is there when our customers need us most, and the American Red Cross is there at times of disaster when victims need it most. Our goals are really the same,” said Cheryl Gentry, a vice president of sales support at OneAmerica who serves on the board of directors for the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis.

After a tornado struck Southern Indiana in March 2012, employees from OneAmerica donated generously to the American Red Cross, and the OneAmerica Foundation, Inc., provided a dollar-for-dollar match. As a result of this and other donations, the Indiana chapter of the America Red Cross sent disaster volunteers and committed to long-term recovery assistance.
