OneAmerica® Retirement Services Expands Sales Regions, Appoints New Leadership

The companies of OneAmerica^® today announced the implementation of a three-region sales and distribution structure for retirement services. The new structure will improve geographic proximity, create efficiencies and increase productivity. Paul Citron has been named vice president of national sales and field service and will now oversee all three regions. Citron joined OneAmerica in 2012 as regional vice president and brings over 20 years of retirement sales, service and management experience to his new role.

“By implementing a three-region strategy for the sales and distribution of our retirement products and services, we will be better able to penetrate the market more effectively with our award-winning¹ service and support,” said Bill Yoerger, president of retirement services for the companies of OneAmerica. “The leadership experience Paul Citron brings to his new role will be instrumental as we continue to grow our business.”

As part of this initiative, the following sales management and field sales changes have also been announced:

• Mark Glavin, vice president of western region. Glavin joined the companies of OneAmerica in 2005 as vice president national sales and field service after a 23-year career at Principal Financial Group^®, where he was also regional vice president, western region.
• Pat Kendall, vice president of eastern region. Kendall has over 12 years of retirement sales experience and has held roles at Transamerica, Diversified and Mass Mutual.
• Duane Jeffers, regional vice president - tax exempt specialist, central region. Jeffers joined OneAmerica in 2012 and has been serving as regional sales director in the Ohio and Michigan regions. He brings 20 years of experience in tax exempt sales and support to this new role. Previously, he held roles at Prudential, Great West and Nationwide.
• Miki Sakata, regional sales director in Northern California and Nevada. Sakata brings over 17 years of retirement sales experience and has held roles at Prudential, The Standard, Guardian and TransAmerica.

The expansion will be complete following the end of a search for a vice president of central region sales which is currently in process.
