Improve Your Employees’ Investing Knowledge

Your employees' financial health matters to your organization. Not only is this true right now, but in the future as well. Because you know this, you have a company-sponsored retirement plan. It provides your employees an opportunity to provide themselves a financial future - that is, if they have a working knowledge of how investing works. It's imperative that your coworkers understand concepts such as time horizon, risk tolerance and diversification. In our recent survey of retirement plan participants, only 30 percent of participants rated themselves as being either knowledgeable or very knowledgeable about basic investing concepts.
